In light of recent weather events across Australia and NZ, we would like to support all customers of the Social Pinpoint by giving access to more site users where and when it's needed most.
After speaking recently with a customer in New Zealand who was affected by floods and landslides earlier in the year, we quickly realised that access to their Social Pinpoint platform was crucial to coordinate a response.
This included registering volunteers, identifying projects that needed tackling in the community, and coordinating or distributing relief funding and everyday items such as food, drink water and blankets.
We believe this will aid our customers to build and maintain projects related to disaster relief by giving our clients the opportunity to allocate more access to staff that need digital support.
Customers including Maribyrnong, Bendigo, Strathbogie Shire, Greater Shepparton, Swan Hill Rural City Council as well as GM Water, Coliban Water, Melbourne Water, and Greater Western Water have been given two additional site admin licences to deal with the ongoing crisis via their Social Pinpoint sites. These licences will remain available until no longer needed.
Any other customers not listed but also in need of this support, please contact our team or the help desk directly and we will add the licences immediately for your use.
With the recent flooding across Victoria and NSW we want to support you to be able to successfully engage your community on what matters most in a time of need. The offer of free site admin licences will be open to all Social Pinpoint customers across the world when they need it most.
Stay safe.
