Social Pinpoint's Community Training provides our Premium subscribers with expert SPP training for all your users. The initiative lets you send your users along to monthly, online training sessions to learn the essentials of SPP directly from our product experts. Each session runs for an hour and a half and will be hosted on Teams.
In 2023, in addition to our standard training, we're improving our sessions to include specific training on each of the content and participation tools in our toolbox. Each month we'll bring you something different - guiding you through the setup and the best practice of a different participation tool and content tool to improve and deepen your practice.
Registration is open to Premium subscribers only. However, if not a Premium customer and would like to upgrade, or if you would like to book these sessions separately, speak to your CSM about how. Sessions will be promoted here on the Learning Centre and through our email marketing list. You can read more details about the training initiative on our blog.
In our first Advanced training for 2023, we welcome the new year with a focus on ideation and storytelling using tools like Gather and Visioner. We'll explore how to set up, manage and can optimise your engagement to encourage community storytelling.
In our first Fundamentals training for 2023, we follow up with a focus on creating great project layouts. We will explore project templates, and content tools like Tabs, Key Dates, Accordions and Faces.
In this session, we focus on facilitating robust and dynamic discussions in the online sphere. We'll explore ways to create conversations focused around particular topics using the Q&A, Conversation and Forum tools.
To effectively engage and gain a deeper understanding of our communities, data is vital. In this session, we focus on the reporting features of The HiVE, with particular emphasis on the Assisted Analysis tool to make the most of your qualitative data.
Digital mapping is transforming the way we engage in place-based engagements. In this session, we focus on the Social Map, exploring ways to set up, manage and optimise your map to create highly engaging place-based projects.
Inject life into your projects and break rich content out of dry documents. In this session we explore ways to create visually rich, dynamic and interactive ways to bring your content to life using content tools including Facts, Video, Quote and Hotspots.
Participatory budgeting provides communities with the opportunity to prioritise spending in a way that aligns with it's values. In this session, we demonstrate how you can facilitate deliberative democracy using the Fund it tool as a tool for budgeting, voting or information sharing.
Creating meaningful relationships with the community is crucial to any successful engagement. In this session, weâll teach you how to make the most of the built-in notification and campaign functionality (including the News feed tool) to better connect with your community.
Great surveys are a delicate combination of art and science, whether you're gathering community feedback, planning an event, or revising policies. In this session, we'll cover survey best practice using the Form tool and strategies to improve your survey.
Incorporating community feedback into project engagement is crucial for building trust. In the last session of 2023, we will discuss ways to use content tools to share insights and learnings and effectively close the loop.
In todayâs landscape, having an online community engagement platform is essential to connect with your residents, gather feedback, and involve members in decision-making. However, simply having a community engagement platform isnât enough. To make a real impact, you need to drive traffic to your engagement site, ensuring you hear from a diverse range of voices.
Community engagement is an ongoing process of collaboration and co-learning. When we evaluate our community engagement initiatives, we give ourselves the opportunity to measure our deeper impact and make improvements for future projects.
With the right action plan in place, we can ensure we are connecting with our community on an appropriate level to enhance public decision-making.
