Powered by UserWay

Our platform is built to meet high accessibility standards. As an additional enhancement, Social Pinpoint supports the integration of the UserWay Accessibility Widget- a third-party tool that allows individuals to further customise their experience for improved accessibility.

🖼️Examples

Once installed, the widget appears as a floating icon on your site, giving end users tools to:

  • Adjust text size
  • Enable screen reader enhancements
  • Change colour contrast or saturation
  • Turn on keyboard navigation
  • Use a reading guide, ruler, or big cursor
  • Pause animations or highlight links

💡NOTE: You do not need to configure the tool yourself. Support and setup are managed by Social Pinpoint.

🎯Key Actions

No. The UserWay widget is fully managed by Social Pinpoint. Clients do not need to create or manage a separate UserWay account. All setup and customisation requests should be directed to our support team.

The UserWay widget includes a Colour Contrast Checker, which helps users identify whether the text and background colours on your site meet WCAG accessibility standards. It can be used to:

  • Check if text is readable for users with visual impairments.
  • Assess and improve the contrast between foreground and background elements.
  • Support your internal accessibility reviews and design decisions.

This tool is particularly useful for branding, design updates, or internal accessibility audits. You can try it yourself here: https://userway.org/contrast/?fg=000000&bg=ffffff

  • Replace the default colour codes with your organisation’s primary text and background colours to test your combinations.

The UserWay widget can be temporarily disabled by our Support team upon request.

Alternatively, if immediate removal is required, you can remove the widget by deleting the <script> tag from your site:

  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Tracking Codes
  2. Remove the UserWay script from the Header field
  3. Click Save

This will remove the widget from all pages of your site. To re-enable it later, the script can simply be re-added.
