The Project List tool lets you visually display a collection of projects available on your site and link visitors to the related project pages. It is usually used on the homepage or other 'hub' pages to help your community discover published projects on your site.
You can use the Project List in a variety of ways, including:
The project list blocks will be added to your homepage during the initial set up of your site, from there you will be able to edit and update the project list according to your needs.
While the Project List is not available for site users to add directly to a page you will need to be aware of the settings you can modify within this block on parts of your site such as the Homepage.
There may also be other scenarios where you want to use project lists such as when creating a hub page to display collections of specific projects. However you should note that in these situations you will need a Social Pinpoint team member to add the Project List block to the page on your behalf.

By default your homepage will be set up with 3 or more Project List blocks. While a Site Admin is not able to add the Project List block to the site it is possible to edit and update the existing Project Lists.
To update the project list
The project list will dynamically display projects based upon the filters that are set on the block (e.g Project Status - Open) which directly references the settings that have been applied to the project.
To have a project appear in a project list you will need to update the settings of that project to match the filters in the project list.

💡 User Tip
If you are wanting projects to display in a particular order within the block, you can use the filter Sort projects by Sitemap order.
However, you should be aware that you will then need to rearrange the Sitemap via the dashboard to manually set the ordering of the projects in the list.
To hide the project card from appearing in project lists sitewide:
💡 User Tip
Updating the exclude from project list setting will affect the visibility of the project card in all project lists sitewide. You should be aware however that projects will still be discoverable via other mechanisms (e.g via direct link or search)
